OVERVIEW
When Joe Jonas hangs out in Williamsburg, he’s usually meeting up with friends to sip hojicha lattes, dig into white pies, or throw back fennel salad martinis. Sounds like a good day, right? We think so too. That is, until it’s time to split the check.
The Infatuation, Chase and Zelle® hired Hidden Content for soup to nuts creative and production services to create The Split Up — a new series where Joe and his friends take you to his favorite restaurants to share meals.
Episode 1: Fini Pizza
When it comes to pizza, New York is full of so many worthy options that even pigeons have slice preferences, but only one spot has lawn chairs out front. Joe doesn’t just go to Fini’s for their excellent sidewalk seating, though. He’s there for the three-cheese white pizza with hot honey and lemon zest that brightens up the pie, plus a few negronis for the table.
Episode 2: PPL
PPL takes caffeinated drinks seriously—and so does Joe. This former clothing brand turned cafe is known for its seasonally rotating coffee and matcha straight from Kagoshima. On this visit, Joe and Co. split hojicha lattes and a pound cake so big you could use it to build a very delicious house.
Episode 3: Sauced
Going to Sauced feels like hanging out at a friend’s garden apartment, except with a lot more bottles of French wine. It’s no wonder it’s one of Joe’s favorite places to drink in Brooklyn. And before you say, “Really, another natural wine bar?” just wait until the end.
Episode 4: Layla
Layla isn't just any old bar—it's a sexy, sophisticated spot with great pasta and a burger loaded with special sauce. See how Joe and his friends do drinks and snacks in the final episode of The Split Up.
